What Is World Oral Health Day?
World Oral Health Day was founded in 1987 by the WHO and the International Association of Dental Prophylaxis and the World Dental Federation (FDI). The goal of this day is to raise awareness among the public of oral health and the benefits of good oral hygiene.
Every year this day is celebrated on September 23rd. It’s a global celebration of the importance of maintaining good oral health. It also aims to promote the prevention and control of periodontal disease, dental caries and gum disease.
